Overview

Investing can feel overwhelming—too much information, conflicting techniques, and endless opinions make it hard to know where to start. Many people hesitate due to the fear of losing money or making the wrong decisions.

To tackle this, we aimed to create a learning resource that adapts to each investor’s experience level, helping users build confidence and better financial habits. By focusing on bite-sized, structured learning—just five minutes a day—we wanted to make investing education more approachable, engaging, and effective.

Key learnings

✦ Be agile, flexible, yet critical! ✦

At the startup, one of the most important skills for team members is the ability to switch between different areas of the business. As a designer, I often need to manage multiple challenges simultaneously, making flexibility essential in my role. However, I believe flexibility should always be paired with critical thinking.

For instance, it’s important to question priorities—deciding if one feature deserves more focus than another, or whether exploring a new pattern or approach would be worthwhile.

✦ Collab, collab, collab! ✦

This may seem obvious, but the truth is, nothing I accomplished in my eight months at the startup would have been possible without my teammates. Collaboration was essential.
